Friday Jan 27th 2012 7.30pm MTO website is now up, but Interactive map showing road closures & driving conditions is down, which usually means there’s bad weather somewhere, unfortunately we don’t know where. Maybe MTO should get a $10 a month GoDaddy hosting account or similar, so they can then keep their site up and running when people need it? Highway 401 still closed at Kingston

For latest updates go to THIS PAGE Highway 401 Kingston to Gananoque, Accidents, Closures, Traffic News   At 4:30 p.m., 12 hours after two trucks collided in a crash that killed one driver, police were still waiting for the Ministry of Transportation to assess whether that section of the highway would need to be resurfaced. Downtown Kingston is gridlocked. I really don’t understand how or why it takes so long to reopen the Highway after a major accident sometimes.
