The Outer Station: CN attacks Kingston’s Heritage, Canada’s Heritage



Work Begins on Removal of 1856 Outer Station Building Roof outer-station-01-april-2011-123r
Work began on removing the burned-out roof of Kingston’s “Outer Station” on Friday, April 1st.  The stone building at 810 Montreal Street was built for the Grand Trunk Railway (GTR) in 1856, as part of the first main railway line in Canada.
