Gananoque Police report for the period between July 21st and July 28th, 2013.
Officers of the Gananoque Police Service investigated 135 occurrences during the seven day
period ending July 28th, 2013. This included 15 criminal occurrences, 6 motor vehicle
accidents, and 20 calls to 911 for assistance.

July 22nd, 2013
On Monday July 22nd, 2013 the Gananoque Police Service received multiple reports of
vehicle tires being slashed. Upon further investigation three young persons (ages 12, 13 and
14 years) were identified as the suspects. A total of $2935.38 in damages was reported for the
mischief to ten vehicles. The three young persons were charged with ten counts of Mischief
Under $5000.

July 22nd, 2013
On Monday July 22nd, 2013 the Gananoque Police Service received a report of a theft of a
washing machine from behind a local business. Upon further investigation it was determined
the item may have been mistaken as having been left out for scrap metal. Investigation is
ongoing.

July 24th , 2013
On Wednesday July 24th, 2013, members of the Gananoque Police Service and PROJECT
ISLANDER executed a warrant at a residence in the Town of Gananoque. As a result of the
warrant, officers seized the following: 94.7grams of marihuana, 13.5grams of cannabis resin,
2.8grams of hash, 50 Tylenol 3 and approximately 1000 unstamped cigarettes. The accused was
charged with multiple Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences. The accused was released
on a Promise to Appear and an Undertaking before an Officer in Charge to appear in court at a
later date.

July 26th, 2013
On Friday, July 26th, the Gananoque Police Service received a report of a possible impaired
driver heading toward the west end of Gananoque. Officers attended and searched the area,
but were unable to locate the vehicle. July 27th, 2013
On Saturday July 27th, 2013 officers of the Gananoque Police Service received a report of a
domestic dispute at a residence in the Town of Gananoque. Officers attended the residence
but neither party involved was found to be on scene. Officers located the female party who
confirmed the dispute was verbal only, and that the male had left the residence for the
evening.
