Recently, there have been speculations that our local post office will be closing, but that’s not true. Tod Hamilton at Canada Post says they will be changing how local mail is sorted, downsizing the two red mailboxes spread throughout town to only one with all mail being sorted in Toronto. This change will happen on October 12th. Otherwise, Hamilton says the post office will not close and there will be no job losses.
