On April 10, 2012 the Gananoque Police Service launched an investigation into a missing person. Today, April 20, 2012 at approximately 11:15am, the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (UWSR) located the body of 50 year old Paul Douglas TRYON of Gananoque in the Gananoque River.
TRYON was last seen by a friend on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 6:00pm at his residence located at 27 King Street, Gananoque.
On Tuesday April 17, 2012 the Gananoque Police Service Chief Kai Liu requested the assistance of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
A post mortem examination has been scheduled for Saturday April 21, 2012 at the Ottawa Hospital to determine the cause of death.
