New board member at 1000 Islands Gananoque Chamber of Commerce

As a Tourism Professional, Michelle Caron has been diversely absorbed with most aspects of tourism in Gananoque and the 1000 Islands-St. Lawrence Seaway region including Marketing, Research, Advertising, Communications, Outreach, Planning, and Funding. She was a key player in the development of the Thousand Islands Marketing Partnership in Gananoque, and Brockville’s RiverQuest regional initiative.

Moreover, a successful business entrepreneur, she spent 15 years running award winning franchises with several locations throughout Ontario and Quebec. She is also locally known as the entrepreneur who supplies our regional gift shops with the Legendary Thousand Islands Dressing souvenir bottle that recently was featured on CBS this morning.

Now, Economic Development in the 1000 Islands is her passion and it shows. Michelle’s next steps has led her to become a Tourism Hospitality Sales Professional. Her dedication is to help transition tourism operators from ownership to retirement by helping to bring in to the region and educate buyers on the benefits of tourism as a rewarding investment. By combining several years’ experience in Real Estate and 20+ years in Tourism Marketing, it is a winning combination! Michelle is thrilled to have this opportunity to be helping to facilitate the Gananoque Chamber of Commerce with their exciting new vision, and is committed to contribute her experience to benefit all members.
