The Kraft Celebration Tour is open to all Canadian communities.
There will be ten (10) prizes available to be won, each consisting of a $25,000 award from Kraft for the community facility that the nominator of the prize winning community endorses.
Our Community is aware of the importance of an active healthy lifestyle. Our project is to provide recreation facilities that will encourage all citizens to get out and get active. We are currently raising funds to complete our outdoor recreation facility in Gananoque. This facility will consist of a Ball Diamond, Skate Park, BMX Track, Athletic Field and Horse Shoe pits. The ball diamond and skate park have been completed with monies raised through fund raising with the support of the municipality. We are currently fundraising to complete the balance of this project. $25,000.00 would certainly go a long way towards accomplishing our goal of providing affordable recreational opportunities for all ages.
Our goal has been to provide affordable recreation opportunities for all ages and we continue to work closely with community groups, volunteers and individuals as a facilitator to ensure that the community needs are addressed.
